Healing Touch Scope and Standards of Practice

This booklet describes the scope and standards of practice for Healing Touch and to inform Healing Touch students and practitioners, healthcare providers, and the public about these standards upheld for all Healing Touch Practitioners. It also provides explanation, history, and background of the program and practice of Healing Touch, and outlines the benefits, use, and evidence-base of the modality Healing Touch.

The standards set forth in this document outline the responsibilities for which all Healing Touch practitioners and students are accountable. The Code of Ethics forms the foundation for the practice of Healing Touch.
